It's a great way to stock up backings, borders and backgrounds...or really, it's a good excuse to add to your fabric collection! We hope to see all of you there at the end of the month !!!

10th anniversary of the Christmas Mystery Round-About Challenge !!!

The question (awaiting your answer) will be printed in each quarterly newsletter. Call us, e-mail us or write us with your answer. Names with the correct answers will be placed in a box and at the end of the year a drawing will occur. The lucky contestant will receive a free Round-about kit and class. Each individual could have as many as 4 possible chances to win.

The fourth question is: We did one flannel Christmas Round-About. Can you name it?

OUR CLASS SCHEDULE

Registration Information:

Remember to register early for class as class size is limited. Payment in full is required in advance. Class fees are non-refundable 48 hours prior to the class.

We know many reasons pop up that could cause you to run a bit late, but if you find you will be more than 10 minutes late for class we ask that you please take a minute to give the shop a call to let us know.

10% off class supplies purchased at CQB.All class fees listed do not include the cost of your supplies for that class. If you bring your own iron to class please try to bring one with an auto shut-off. Our power bill says "Thank You".

Please be sure that your sewing machine is in good order and that you are comfortable with it. If your machine has been on a shelf for a while, don't forget to dust it off and have it serviced before class. Nothing is more frustrating than to sit down to a machine that doesn't want to cooperate! You will enjoy the class much more if you take care of this ahead of time. Thanks.

Beginner Machine Piecing Quilt Class

Beginner Paper Piecing

Hand Applique Class

Learn how to applique or hone up on your skills if you already have the bug! The art of hand applique covers a wide spectrum from premitive folk art to the sophistication of Baltimore Alkbum quilts.

This is an ongoing class and you may join at any time.

Hand Quilting

The domestic art of hand quilting is back in vogue and in full swing. More and more people are expressing a desire to finish off their pieced and appliqued quilt tops with beautiful hand stitches.

Join us in small classes where you will learn the values of fabric, needles, thread, hoops and thimbles. You'll also learn how to avoid carpel tunnel syndrome while quilting.

One of the many pleasures of hand quilting is the peacefulness that takes over when the fingers begin to move in a quiet rhythm. Come join us in the resurrection of this gentle art. If you have had any doubts about this handicraft, please remember we all started with big uneven stitches, but we had to start somewhere!

Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim features Jinny Beyers' signature color and shading in a striking contempoprary design. The quilt units are strip-pieced for fast assembly. You'll work with biased edges on the diamond patches and assemble the quilt sections using a partial seam technique.

Twisted Christmas

You won't believe your eyes when you see how easily 5" squares become interlocking pinwheels to form this lovely Christmas Wreath. The magic is in the easy-to-use Lil' Twister Ruler. Makes a 25" square wall hanging, great for addinga touch of cheerto your home, office wall or for a quick gift idea. Tou will leave class with a FINISHED wall hanging.

Don't want to make the one using the 5" Little Twister Tool ? Would you rather make the one using the 3 1/2" or 2 1/2" Lil" Twister Tool ? All three sizes will be on display at the shop and you can make your choice. They will use the same pattern and Susan will teach them all at the same time. Tool and pattern required

Family Aprons

Meet Alison O"Grady, a certified Master Seamstress (she's even altered clothing for Marian Carey)!! Alison is the owner os Sew Bee It Clothier and has been filmed for an episode of Bridezilla. We are very lucky to have such an expert at our shop.

You will have a completed jacket at the end of the class. Perfect for any wardrobe. Pattern required. Pre-washing fabric prior to class is strongly sauggested. Stop by the shop for a supply list

Jo's Little Women's Club 10

Jo Morton's Civil War class continues. Sign up and get in on the Saturday fun. Cathy invites you to spend a relaxed morning with friends. Work at your own pace and get lots of TLC!! Ptior club members are always welcome to join in.

The initial fee is $98.44 This includes 25 Jo morton Civil War newest fat quarters and 6 Jo Morton patterns and 7% sales tax. These will take you through all 6 monthly classes. $5 for instructional class fee paid each month to Cathy.

Stick Pilgrims or Mr.& Mrs. Claus

Charmed and Dangerous

Buttons Bear

Join Francy and create the newest creation to the family of Francy Bears. Buttons is a cute fellow ready to warm your heart. He is a quick, easily created teddy bear for that last minute gift. This bear can be made from wool, old quilts, cordurory, or any other treasured article of clothing or fabric. Make a memory. Yopu will easily leave class with a completed teddy bear.

Pattern required.

Bring fabric. You will need about an 18" by 22" square to complete buttons.
